OK!! So I don't kill, heck I even scoop ants out of the bath before opening the tap.  But these babies can deliver a really bad bite that requires quick medical attention.  So I said I was sorry and Doom'd them.  Isis, the all-seeing, one-eyed cat, was sniffing all around the chair in my bedroom, so I knew there must be something there.  I cautiously tipped it over (could have been a snake under it!!) and saw this mother.

Decided to check the second chair and lo and behold, another nasty.  The one on the right is definitely a brown button spider, with the tell-tale orange mark on under belly.  I'm not sure of the one on the left ~ maybe someone can identify for me.  I thought it might be a sac spider - very large bulbous body but, not so sure.  Spiders and I have a love hate relationship - I have a scar on my back about 3cm long, which looks like a stab wound, and that is from a sac spider. I cannot describe the pain - a necrotic area the size of a saucer, I kid you not.  It was horrrrrrible!  So they are not allowed into my space ~ it's survival of the strongest, and that's me with any weapon or a can of Doom

Honouring Our Ancestors

Family and my roots have always been important to me.  I love and honour my parents and forefathers.  In recent years, my healing work has brought me to Family Constellations.  This is a gentle, yet very deep healing of what Lisa Iversen describes as "Ancestral Blueprints" in her book of the same name.  I quote from her website ~

" "Orders of love" is the term used by Bert Hellinger to name these powerful forces that influence our lives.  These orders are natural, hidden laws.  They involve belonging, give and take, and injustice and atonement.  When balance within the family soul is restored, the same love entangled with illness, difficult fate, and suffering, can be transformed into a force for healing.  Many families operate in ways that violate these natural laws because of deeply unconscious patterns, loyalty to family secrets, and tragic losses that make grieving difficult.  Yet there are universal truths that connect all of us to one another, even while each family member has its own story that makes it unique.  By restoring balance in our ancestral blueprints, personal suffering and unhappiness can be transformed into a force for healing."

Being involved in representation in FC work, I saw the most incredible releases of pain and anger.  I saw healing.  And it opened my heart even more to connect the dots in patterns and tragedies, even within my own extended family.  I recognised how generational "curses" were evident in people's lives, without them even recognising it. Once again I saw that thread of the Web of Life that connects us all and how the ripple touches each one.  After all, indigenous tribes have honoured and respected ancestors for millenia.  Here in Africa, the Aboriginals of Australasia, the First People of the Americas, all take into consideration the lineage and voice of the grandfathers and grandmothers when they attend to illnesses or unhappy dispositions in their tribe.

But I digress!!  This is a tribute to my Mom & Dad.  Today is a fitting day to do so!! Their coming together is like a fairy tale, but that I will keep for another blog post. My Dad is Johan Philip van den Heever and my Mom is Johanna Phillipina van den Heever (née Harding).  That in itself is quite amazing!  Phil returned to the Light today, 33 years ago, just before the birth of Kyle, my son, his 10th grandchild and the first from his laatlammetjie, oogappeltjie daughter ... moi!! It was obviously a very sad time .. I can remember in the finest detail the scene in the nursery school where my Mom was teaching when I brought her the news.  He had been in frail care for a few months after suffering a stroke, and, being a tall well built man, my Mom in her tiny 5'4" stature was not strong enough to lift him if he perhaps fell again.  From that moment for at least 2 weeks, the days are very blurred.  Losing my Dad at the age of 25, just before I was about to present him with another grandchild, was probably one of my most painful life experiences.

It feels like yesterday but also a lifetime ago. My Mom was without the love of her life for 19 years.  Not once in that time did she even consider dating another man.  A love story made in heaven, for sure, and one that inspired me. I am acutely aware of my Mom & Dad and know that they are just out of sight, on the other side of the veil.  A smell, a sound, a joke, a song, a sweet memory ... all still remind me of them.  We are not separated.

26 March 1938 l to r  Justus Harding (Mom's oldest brother, Mom's best friend name unknown, Dad, Mom, Marie (Mom's older sister), Ben Jovner her husband and in front, my darling aunt, Irene, youngest surviving sibling of my Mom)  Forty five years of wedded togetherness ~ I personally never saw or heard my folks fight.  Yes, they had some disagreements, but they were devoted to each other, and of a generation that made marriages work.

My brothers from l to r Phil, Steve & Rich.  I was always very loved and they were just the perfect brothers for a young girl.  They teased me, but I loved that and it made me strong. By the time I was 6 years old they were all out of the house and I think they still see me, at 58, as their baby sister :)  Love you guys ♥

The beautiful Phillipa, with her black hair and blue eyes, thanks to our French Huguenot heritage.  A sensitive, gentle soul, my Mom received a bursary to study as a young girl - not so common in those days.  She was a devoted wife and mother, did not always have it easy as one of 9 surviving children and one of the older ones. My gran was, out of necessity I am sure, very strict.  Mom was a teacher.  I also know she was a natural healer and intuitive - did some darn right crazy things to get rid of warts and other ailments :)  I love, cherish and respect her in all ways.  My daughter Raine has her beauty, dark hair and turned up nose ♥

Ouma & Oupa Harding, Mom's folks - farmers originally from Bethlehem in the OFS.  One of the very best years of my life was when we all lived on their farm near Gwelo, in what was then Rhodesia.  My gran was a strict but very loving and capable woman.  Her home was filled with delicious preserves, breads and good food.  I spent more time with my Oupa down at the dairy!!  It was my task to feed the calves.  I remember so well his incredible connection to the herd of about 40 Jerseys.  They each had a name and when he called them, they came to him.  A man deeply connected to God and the earth, nights around the dinner table, reading from the Bible by the light of a paraffin lamp, recounting the day's events, telling ghost stories are some of my sweetest memories.  Thank you! ♥
(sadly I do not have any photos of my father's parents - if any family maybe come across one, please let me have it :( ) 

Dearest, darling Dad as I remember him taken in about 1965 at work.  He was charming, well loved, enjoyed telling a funny story, devoted to my Mom and the best dad I could ever have asked for.  His father had been boarded due to a war injury, I think, and at the very young age of 15 my Dad went out to start an apprenticeship so that he could help his family.  He started as a compositor, in the good old days when newspapers were still put together in printer's trays with tiny little letters arranged with a pair of tweezers!!  He was very stable and stayed in the industry all his life, mostly working night shift, retiring as a sub-editor.  This meant that I didn't get to see him as much as I would have liked, but I never felt deprived of my dad's love and attention.  Mom & Dad, you are in my heart and live on in my beautiful and amazing children and grandchild.  Thank you ! I love you! ♥♥♥

Elenin...So What Do YOU Believe??

The buzz around Elenin, Niburu, Planet X has reached almost frenzy levels. I started investigating Wormwood, of the Holy Bible in about 1994. Since then, and in particular over the last few years many other accounts from various sacred texts and messages through the Spirit of G-d have come to me. There truly is just SOOOOO much happening at the moment that ties in with the prophecies of many sacred texts...one has to be a half-wit not to see that things are hotting up in many scenarios. This is not a declaration of the end of the world but it is certainly a wake-up call for those who still slumber. I have always said to people with whom I share my beliefs and who do not believe as I do "You must take what I give you, seek wherever you are led for your own confirmation, use discernment, wisdom and your inner compass...if I am "wrong" and it's all hogwash, then fine...the laughs on me, and maybe in this case you will have enough food and water for 6 months!! BUT if what I believe is true, the consequences for you are dire and the suffering could be immense: emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually.

My friend Jerry Thornton (we both belong to the Keys of Enoch and Academy of Future Science Facebook groups) shared this today. Please do your own research - there is much information as well as disinformation. At the end of the day I celebrate being here at this time - it is the time to which we were called, to participate - the how is still your choice! My prayer for all mankind and our planet is that we connect with G-d and align ourselves to the Divine Purpose.

This report includes many sources, and I do not claim it as my own. My conclusion is my own opinion. It is your responsibility to do your own ‘Due Diligence’ and to make your own determinations. When you do your research, you will find that there are many detractors on the internet. It’s important to keep an open mind and to realize that there are those who may purposefully propagate false information and stories to create even more confusion and chaos and to keep us from realizing the truth. However, I believe that the earth changes and other facts presented here are indisputable. Those of you who think that these earth changes are ongoing and continual are seriously underestimating the urgency of the current situation. Presently, there is a huge increase in solar, earthquake, and volcanic activity, along with the ongoing disarray of global economic downturns. As of this writing, the US stock market is on its tenth straight day of losses and all of this year’s gains have been completely wiped out – more than a trillion dollars’ worth - 1.3 trillion, to be more exact. This is the ninth greatest loss in the history of the stock market. Not only is the United States having major fiscal issues, but many other world markets are in very serious economic trouble as well. The Euro is at risk of failing. In fact, according to the news the world has never seen such pervasive global economic disarray.

There are other shocking changes as well. For example, the 400 year old tradition of the Dalai Lama officially ended as of March 9th 2011 when the Dalai Lama resigned and announced that he will not appoint a successor. The entire worldwide Buddhist community is in disarray, as they considered him a living god. They are atheist, and their “god” is no more. Ironically, this information has not received any mainstream news. It was not even a blip on the world news markets. Also, the crisis at Fukushima is ongoing and mainstream news agencies have suppressed some extremely unusual activities surrounding this tragic event, (although, I am now convinced that these activities have been somewhat routine for millennia). I know that you will find this to be as amazing and surprising as I have, but you will have to judge for yourself when you see the videos with your own eyes. Although we are accustomed to hearing about UFO’s, and most of us are intelligent enough to realize that with billions of galaxies in the universe we are likely not alone, there has never been any kind of official announcement to humanity verifying any encounters. Well, apparently there are authentic videos of unprecedented UFO activity present over the atomic plant and before, during, and after the tsunami. However, you can only find this info from Chinese and Japanese news sources. In addition, there is an increase in recorded UFO activity over Jerusalem as well. NASA has also failed to reveal the massive amount of UFO activity on various Apollo and space shuttle flights which has been stored in their archives. Also, it is not a coincidence that there are no more space shuttle flights and that the space station has been abandoned at this time. Have you ever really asked yourself why? There have been massive cover-ups by NASA to prevent our exposure the truth, but fortunately some of it has leaked out for our edification. Eighteen months ago, NASA erected an infrared observatory in the South Pole to observe a celestial body that can only be seen via infrared. It has been postulated that this object has, and will continue to affect this planet, and this information has been exposed by the Russian government.

Why is NASA so afraid to reveal all of this information? I believe, along with many others, that an array of UFO’s is arriving from all over the universe to observe an impending, evolutionary, global shift in consciousness - a monumental event with far-reaching consequences. Many crop circles have clearly indicated that they are here and waiting for the shift on this planet. In fact, Carl Sagan was the expert who was asked to create a message to be sent out to space, and many are aware of that event taking place. But did anyone ever mention to you that we had received an answer? Furthermore, there’s a great amount of Jewish, Indian, and other prophesy which has been fulfilled leading us to the season of what has been called by some as the Day of Purification. This is not to say that it is the end of the world, and do not make that kind of assumption. It is only to say that there are more than enough earth signs and prophesies to recognize that a New Earth is about to emerge. We are only weeks away from the holy number of seven billion souls living on this planet, and that coupled with other celestial events help to indicate that this is a season of change.

It is up to you to determine in your heart what you should do, for the current path of the earth is clearly unsustainable and unconscionable. Man has passed the point of no return and there is no rectifying these errors at this point. When one percent of the population controls 99% of the world’s wealth, and millions of people are starving on this abundant planet, (as has most recently been graphically highlighted by the tragedy in Somalia), it is easy to understand the dire necessity for change from this insanity. Timely changes will certainly come quickly and such changes are now out of the control of man. This is not a time to create more wealth, work on careers, or buy bigger homes. Rather this is a time to contemplate our individual responsibility in creating this situation and its untenable and unconscionable nature. It’s a final opportunity to change our hearts and minds, our consciousness, so that when the new earth emerges we will be prepared as well.

Those who give lip service to G-d will find themselves in a quandary. The choice is quite simple, will we bury our heads and hearts in the sand ignoring all of the signs and continue full steam ahead with making money or advancing careers and act if nothing is ever going to happen, or will we do a 180 degree about face, stop being in denial, and break the illusion that we can consume more than we need, turn our hearts to the Divine and make amends. This is truly a time for contemplation and soul searching. There is a reason that the Dalai Lama has stepped down and said these words, “The day of kings is over.” There is something new on the horizon, and he must know it. He has always been highly regarded as an intelligent, pious, balanced, wise, and holy man. So the fact that he has peacefully relinquished his exalted post and is spending this time as a meek monk in deep meditation, prayer, and ritual at this most crucial of times in history is something to truly ponder.

Please use your own good common sense and discernment when searching your hearts and minds for the truth. I only ask that you read and study all of this information in its entirety before making any final determinations or before taking any actions, including offhandedly dismissing everything as invalid.

In November 2010, a comet was purportedly discovered by a Russian astronomer. I am not a conspiracy theorist, however the community at large believes that NASA had already known about this comet, but did not show it on charts, thus the Russians exposed it. The Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) is responsible for tracking all outer space objects and has named this comet C/2010/X1. It is currently being tracked. The space community has named it ELENIN.

This is not the issue. In fact, it will be almost 22 million miles away when it reaches its apogee to the Earth on Sept 26, 2011.

There are several anomalies with this comet that both NASA and the Russian Space Center cannot explain.

1. Dr. Mensur Omerbashich from Cornell University has authored a very critical paper proposing direct scientific evidence that earthquakes of 6+ magnitudes, including the 8.8 Chilean earthquake and the 9.2 Japanese earthquake, occurred during very specific alignments of Elenin and other celestial bodies. Please see “Astronomical Alignments As Cause of ~M6+ Seismicity.” Here is a link to Cornell University and the paper.
   
2. On March 9, 2011 a full two days before the Japanese 9.2 earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011, a warning was given to Japan of an impeding earthquake by a noted astrophysicist. It was clear that comet ELEnin was going into alignment and the probability of a large earthquake could occur. The Japanese Government failed to warn their people and 23,000 people died. Elenin was 2.55 A.U away from the earth at that time. When it reaches apogee on September 26, 2011, it will be much closer, only .23 A.U away from the Earth (although, at the time of this writing, I believe that this figure has actually been revised and that it is expected to be even closer than that), and it will also be in full alignment with the Sun. It is at this point that the poles are expected to be reversed and massive solar flares are expected to be headed to earth. This alignment will trigger much greater electromagnetic forces on the earth than experienced during the March 11, 2011 alignment. This is a VERY important video: BIG eathquake to come!! Get away from the Fault Zones!!
3. NASA, The Russian Federal Space Agency, and many astronomers have noticed that Elenin does not follow a predicable path at times like all other planets and space objects. In fact, it has slowed down at times and then sped back up. These varying speeds are not at all normal and thus these movements throw off the calculations of the predicted path. All of these agencies have had to adjust their charts to keep with Elenin.
4. NASA has said nothing publicly about this very unusual behavior, but The Russian Federal Space Agency has said that they believe this comet is being intelligently controlled. The Russian government is far more advanced in remote viewing that the U.S government. Those remote viewers have indicated that there is a brown dwarf star behind Elenin. They further stated the comet must be either an artificially created object on a natural orbit or a natural object on an artificial orbit.
   
5. It appears that NASA has blacked out the area where Elenin is at. Thus hiding what is behind it. Brown dwarf stars can only be seen under infrared. Check out Google Sky.
6. Currently magnetic North is known to be RACING at 40 miles per year towards Russia and it is increasing in speed daily. It rarely even moved in the past 100 years prior. The former theory that the earth’s iron core is causing this shift is inaccurate. It appears that Elenin is creating this change as it is trying to make the earth orbit around it, rather than the sun.
7. The Russian government is at this time trying to finish building 5,000 underground shelters in Moscow because of this threat.
8. ELEnin may not be just a comet. It is a dwarf brown star.
   
9. Earthquakes and volcanoes are coming faster and faster and stronger and stronger as Elenin approaches the Earth. Please see the links below for the U.S. government’s official monitoring websites.
10. The aquifers in Florida and Texas were moved for several hours when the alignment points were hit. Such a force could only come from an object of tremendous mass.
    
11. The Yellowstone and New Madrid Calderas lava flows are active and are getting hotter and hotter. The USGS has installed monitors at Yellowstone. NASA has issues a warning to their employees and it is assumed that the calderas will blow. Edgar Cayce's map indicates that both of these Calderas will blow and reshape the coastlines. According to this map, most states to the west will no longer be there. The U.S. Navy has a new map with the new coastlines that looks like a synthesis of the I AM America map and Cayce's map.
    
12. Edgar Cayce has indicated that the end of times will start when Iceland’s volcanoes begin erupting. That just occurred on July 11, 14, 15, 2011. Check this link.
    
13. In California, over 70 earthquakes have been recorded since Thursday July 14, 2011. This is known as a swarm of earthquakes and the USGS indicates this is a precursor to volcanic activity. The Yellowstone Caldera may blow soon. This is a 1000km super volcano that when fully erupted will allow water from the Pacific Ocean to fill that entire region as indicated on both the Cayce and I Am America maps. California and other Western states will possibly be no more.
14. Sept 26, 2011 will be a strong alignment point for comet Elenin (as stated earlier, it will be .23 A.U, or less, away from Earth at that point) and we will see a huge increase in earthquakes. It is feared that Japan will be no more by Oct/Nov. They were hit with another 7.3 on Sunday July 10, 2011 as a further sign to those that can hear to move out. Alaska was hit 2 weeks ago and a huge quake hit off the coast of New Zealand on the July 6. (In fact, several…). This is a very important warning video.

Please remember: It is possible that none of these scenarios will occur, but it is highly unlikely that NONE of them will occur. Therefore, it is out of the GREATEST ABUNDANCE OF CAUTION, that it is recommended and necessary to be at least 250 miles from the coast and between 650ft, and no more than 2000ft, in altitude. As far as locations are concerned, the Rockies are too close and too high to the Yellowstone Caldera, if it blows, to be safe. The East coast is not safe either because if the nuclear power plants are damaged, they will spew radioactivity all up and down the Eastern Seaboard, just like happened in Japan.

Once the poles begin their movements, the oceans may begin to slosh around and water may go up quite high onto land - perhaps as high as 1,000 feet or more. It is assumed that the U.K., Western Europe, and Island nation of the Republic of Ireland will be overrun with water. It is predicted that the water could go as high as the Swiss Alps before it settles out and the terrain resembles the Cayce, I AM America, and other maps of earth changes that have been given to humanity.

It is interesting to note that in the The Book of Knowledge: The Keys of Enoch, by J.J. Hurtak, it is written that the pole reversal would occur when the solar flares hit the electromagnetic field of the earth, which could occur when Elenin comes into alignment in late Sept 2011.

It appears that we actually live in a binary solar system, and this brown dwarf star is actually our Sun’s twin that orbits every 36,000 years.

There is substantially more information available, but I feel this is more than enough for an overview. Call with your questions and if I can answer them I will. This situation is dynamic and fluid and you can expect changes to occur on a daily basis with new information being revealed to confirm what is believed to be happening. This whole event is intimately linked to the consciousness of humanity as we move towards unity consciousness, and anything is possible as the new earth emerges.

Many feel that the earth changes are at a very critical level NOW and it is crucial to prepare. In an abundance of caution, many believe that everyone in Florida, and most areas of both coastlines of the U.S. and Europe, should seek a safe place till at least late Dec 2011. These events have been covered with physical sciences, spirituality, and what our ancestors have told us about the past.

This information has been provided so that you can make comprehensive decisions, and it is lovingly recommended that you do the most diligent and timely soul searching possible to find your answers. Gd bless you and your families as we all are in this together!!!

I CANNOT WAIT ANOTHER DAY!!

Starship Regenesis Captain's Log 31 July 2011...it's nearly a year since my last entry....I, like Captain Jim Kirk, Dr Spock, Scotty, Uhuru & Bones have been "boldly going where no man has gone before" on this journey of discovery. There have been unexplained twists and turns, huge challenges, mind-blowing experiences and so much to share.

My last entry here birthed a travel blog where you can follow all my shenanigans of the last year. Take a look at Gypsey Lee's musings. I embarked on a Divinely orchestrated 6 week trip to Portugal, which became an 8 month journey of discovery (within and without), learning, trusting, teaching. I was taken into a deeper place with my Creator, experienced miracles and great joy in ordinary things.

I saw so many threads of the wonderful tapestry of my life, being woven together intricately in a burst of colour and subtle nuances of emotion. It is a an amazing work in progress and I am so excited to be able to share with those who find it.

Since my reluctant return 4 months ago - only because I fell in love with Portugal and her people, especially life in the Serra di Estrela, the magnificent mountains of the central region - I have felt that my life is both a roller-coaster ride and a marathon run in Jello!! Do you feel me?? And I am not the only one having these experiences....some more than others. And of course, there are the Sheeple who are blissfully unaware of pretty much anything except the day to day drudgery....or even worse the Ostri-Sheeple, who choose to see or hear nothing...woe is he.

Wait!!! I have such crucially important thoughts to share with you, so let me end the blah blah here and get to the marrow of these scrumptious bones.

The sense of urgency that I have had since 2006, in particular, has escalated to such an extent that I just cannot waste another moment! There is great change afoot, and it's on a fast-track. If I have created within you, a desire to seek more, go deeper within (for that is where all we require resides), connect with your Creator and to help you remember who you are and from whence you came, then I am happy! There is much more to follow ... in manageable bite-sized chunks!!

life unfolds as it must ~ Lisboa 28 Aug

well boom! is a thing of the past and the next phase of my journey has begun.
The beauty of my experience, especially in last 2 years, is that I am learning a
great lesson in trust....taking life a day at a time and even, on occasion, an hour
at a time...it is exhilarating, challenging and gratifying.  With no planned way to
get out of boom!, which is about 60km from nearest town (small villages nearby),
and lift opportunities dwindling rapidly, I only had my thumb, legs and smile to
help me and they sure did the trick...caught a lift in a vehicle with Inez, going to
Lisbon and with my baggage in Johanna's van!  The day before I went back to my
tent to contemplate the options, wondering how I was going to lighten my load so
that I would be more free to travel to remoter places...within 3 minutes Bilal, one
of the healers came and chatted, offered that I could use his home in Lisbon as a
base to leave things and come and go from there as required!!  He arrived like an
angel (which he is!!). And so all our needs are met.  We arrived at about 7pm and
he came through to collect my excess stuff...he helped me with directions etc to a
backpackers in the centre of old Lisbon.  I was going to board the Metro thought I
must check if bed still available and it wasn't??!!  Eish, that would have been hectic
to arrive there so late with no place to sleep..I called Bilal and he graciously helped
again..came back, tried to find alternate accommodation, but none, so I slept over at his
place - like a 5 star hotel after 2 weeks of rough camping.  He has been soooo
gracious and kind...life is amazing when one´s heart is right.

It´s a WOW!!! for me.  So today I weigh up all the options....look for WWOOFER
farmwork opportunities, possibly teaching English here or in Spain, may meet up
with another friend who is going to work in the Pyrenees, visit some eco-villages,
go to a very remote farm in the north of Portugal where Sophie lives and works...
it´s great.  But the best of all is that I have been offered to house-sit in Sintra - a
deeply spiritual area north of Lisbon - it is the place where royalty used to go for
the summer holidays - amazing castles and villas - the original home of the Knights
Templar here in Portugal, so it is steeped in mysticism and legend.  I have full
access to Valentina and Francois´home - she was the manager of the healing area @
boom and they will be staying there to breakdown structures or going to Italy for a
few weeks.  I basically just need to air the place as it can become damp - lots of
mist most of the time - you know me and that kind of weather - and feed the 2
chickens!!!  Whoopeeeee....so might just hang there for 3 weeks...or months!!! 

BOOM!! BOOM!! BOOM!! 12 - 28 August 2010

OH MY WORD!! What a place....it is just quite magical. A stunning lake, the most inspiring creations and a ragged band of wonderful eclectic people that I will share space with over the next 3 weeks. I set up home in Thelia's 1-man tent just outside the main backstage camp.

Boom is an incredible experience....lots of hard physical work....so Marjo our months of not getting to ride bike\walk as often as we want to were a hidden blessing!!! I made up for that in the 1st week at boom!! Lots of hard walking and heavy physical work!! Working in very high temps was at times unpleasant (42 one weekend), but then I could just stroll down to the stunning clear lake and take a dip whenever required....have a very good almost all-over tan!!! The only down side of boom for me, and most of the people I spoke to was that it started as a trance party way back when, but has evolved into more organic music and healing as well. However the trance music permeates through everything and you cannot get away from it, even if you had a peaceful meditation in the Pudja tent - it was still there. So quality and quantity of sleep seriously affected. The last 2 nights were bliss though - only the sounds of nature. All the stuff that was happening was incredible - workshops on raising our awareness, consciousness, connecting more with the Creator, wonderful healing therapies - I had a Watsu session which was a profound experience. I have made friends with some incredible people and have invitations to visit them all over.

There is much activity at Boom...lots to do..time running by fast. I work with Tiago mostly, and Valentina...getting bios of the 35 odd healers together. Who would have thought that I would travel to Boom and be sitting behind a PC again!! Monkey shows his tricks...but I didn't...it just happened that way. Some days I really need to escape from the heat of the container and the machine...then I go off and help Thelia with her mind-blowing creations...what talent.

We have the most delish raw food restaurant and a wonderful team supplying the good food...thanks guys...Suzanna, Hugo, Matilde and those whose names I never got...you are stars.

Some days are really hard but there is always some peace to tap into...until the festival starts.....DARN IT!!! The trance music from the main dance floor permeates through everything...there is just no escape...and there is is Anti-Boom as well....the rebels that felt the need to counteract Boom??? Weird stuff!! I eventually resort to Prestik in my ears. I just can't handle the energy that was at the main dance area...not in my body an definitely not in my spirit. And I wasn't the only one.

Sacred Fire next door has much cooler music...live..organic..more pleasing to the soul. CAN YOU BELIEVE IT??!! I get to see Ganga Giri live....now that was a WOW!!!

Boom and all that it is is just quite awesome....I felt I was living in Mad Max and the Thunderdome visiting Stargate!!

dreams DO come true

I am deliriously happy!! My son Kyle who is a wine-maker in Malmesbury, South Africa (3rd year student) has had a deep desire for 2 years to go to Spain to experience the harvest. There have been some minor limitations ($$$!!!!) but I always believed he would get there. Earlier in the year we spoke of it again but it seemed that with the visa and stringent cash availability requirements etc etc, he might have to shelve the idea.

But I kept believing!

Heeeehaaaaaaaaa...3 September sees him on the plane to Barcelona for a month, working on the farm of one of the country's (and I believe Europe's) best young winemakers. All is sorted!!

Dreams DO come true! Hold on to yours with all you have!

fairy dust...dog bones...attitudes to life

I spent an interesting evening in the company of 2 special friends and a whole bunch of other people that were quite an eclectic bunch. It was one of those networking meetings with a feminine touch. Lots of good stuff (like a delish meal and some rather zjujz designer clothing), but as I sat at our table of 10 I heard so much negative comment, mindless, superficial bull#@&% that I could but smile. And then my heart went out to the women who had this rather sad outlook on almost everything as I heard stories of ill health, cancers, despondency....and yet again it just reinforced in me how important our attitudes are.

I once read of a perfectly healthy, happy woman, who after 15 years of a great marriage, had the foundations of her life torn from her when her husband left her most unexpectedly. Within 6 months her grief, bitterness and anger manifested as cancer and within 2 years she lost her battle.

Feelings of hatred and anger, other such intense negative emotions play havoc within us. They are a curved sword that cuts us to the bone...they poison our bodies, minds, souls and spirits, whilst the one at whom they are directed is oft times blissfully unaware of the pain they have caused.

When you feel the urge to use energy on a wasted negative emotion, pause for a moment, consider if the consequences are worth it and turn it around into a gentle, beautiful thought that lights a spark of hope and happiness within you.

And so 3 friends laughed at fairy dust, dog bones and life.....and sent out prayers for joy to overflow in the lives of all.

how weird is this.....

Another report from my time on the farm here in Heidelberg. On my 1st day I went for a walk down the dusty, red farm road leading up to the dwellings. I noticed the ruins of what I thought was a house but didn't investigate further. The following day on my walk I decided to go and check it out. I realised as I got closer that it was a graveyard...it was customary in the old days for farmers to bury their loved ones on the farm rather than schlep the body to the local cemetery (mostly because of distance, we have big farms here in South Africa). As I approached the 4 graves, my heart jumped in my chest – the name on 2 of the tombstones was “van den Heever” – my maiden name. I gasped!! It’s not a very common name such as Botha or van der Merwe or Smith and I understand that all van den Heevers are related, and that not too far. I checked the names and dates of death – 1932. That was WOW for me. Knowing that I was on the very farm where distant relatives lived and died was almost an epiphanic moment (alomost only because I am not sure of the family connection!).

In the time since then, I have like a deep sense of belonging, it’s as if I am home, but I am not even sure how closely related we were. It has just been very special for me to experience all the soul and spirit stuff that I have over the last few days on ground that for us van den Heevers (or me at least!!) feels hallowed.

i touched nature.....

Into the 4th day of my soul retreat and I am having an absolute blast!! I haven't done one of these for about 4 years and just realise again how important it is. I cannot wait for our farm so that we can offer the same kind of deep healing to others...it's vital.

The wind has been howling for 2 days....last night was full moon....so there's a combination of 2 of my most favourite energies in nature. I grabbed a duvet and pillow and headed outside. What a totally awesome blessing it is to be able to lie under the stars, feel the chill wind on your face whilst wrapped up snug and warm....I looked out over the dam to a veld fire on the neighbouring farm..that was a sight, especially watching as the wind picked up...but I could hear voices so knew it was a controlled burn. The clouds were stunning, racing across the moon, which bathed me in her gentle light..... the haunting call of a few jackals out on the prowl just rounded off a perfect encounter with Earth.

I am blessed beyond measure.....

rest at last......

Yay!!! No projects for next week, so time for some self indulgence....definitely some serious navel-gazing.....rebonding sessions with my dogs - I think they are sorely p%@#* at me for being away so much. Last weekend I slept out on the lawn, surrounded by my "wolves" - invigorating fresh air, cool and crisp as the darkest part of the night wrapped itself around me....bliss.

Thanks Carina that I can visit in your neck of the woods - I am truly looking forward to some me time.

Hey!! Did anyone else notice some really weird energies tonight (Thursday) - all my electronic stuff was playing up, babies and children behaving differently, and some odd stuff going down?? NO!! It's not just me......

a most wondrous, magic moment....

I had a very beautiful encounter today. Started my newest mural project, painting Hannah Montana on a little girl's wall and butterflies, bees, dragonflies and other lovely "goggas" (South African for insect) on a her baby sister's wall. As I finished the rough sketch, I noticed a buzzing in the room. I was surrounded by about 12 bees who seemed to be checking out what I had created. I love these industrious workers so didn't panic. But how to get them out - there were plenty more outside so I had to close the door. I just started humming/singing in a rather high pitched tone and called them to me - here's the magic, the wondrous thing - slowly, but surely, one by one, the bees came to the door where I stood and allowed me to let them out...........it took a while, but I was enraptured by the incredible connection I made with them. Weird??? For sure!!!! But a stunning experience!

Pearls of wisdom from the pantyhose of a drag queen at the brilliant Madame Zingara Theatre of Dreams. I feel so exhilarated after the show - what an inspiration. Our very own SOUTH AFRICAN gypsy extravaganza, created out of necessity after a fire, these performers leave you breathless, speechless and craving more. The tent was brought in from Ireland and is only 1 of 3 of its type in the world. The show is set up and dismantled in its entirety as it travels across the country. The show in Johannesburg last night was amazing. The most sensual performances suspended from the tent top, delicious food, attentive waiters, bearded ladies and other circus types, exquisite bodies and so much more made this an event to diarise for the next decade!! Truly a feast for the eyes, taste buds, mind, body and soul - thank you Madame!!
